Alkmaar Farms is a small, family-owned farm and fruit tree nursery on just 7 acres in Salem County. We live here, and we love fruit trees: we grow our own for our family. It’s our home, not a commercial operation. We’re now taking reservations for the 2027 season: apples, cherries, peaches, pears, plums, berries and more, picked up at our farm in Pittsgrove in the spring and paid for at pickup.

2027 season
Reserve early. They sell out fast.
We take orders over the fall and winter and fill them in the spring. Here’s what to know before you reserve.
- Popular trees go first Supply is limited, and the most popular varieties usually sell out well before spring.
- Orders are filled in March We fill all orders at once, typically in March, in time for spring planting. We’ll contact you to set up a pickup time before we do.
- Reservations aren’t guaranteed A reservation holds your place in line, but stock can change before spring. If something you reserved isn’t available, we’ll tell you, and you won’t pay for it.
- Nothing to pay up front You pay when you pick up your trees at our farm in Pittsgrove: cash, check, Venmo or PayPal.

What you can reserve
More than 50 fruit trees, bushes and vines, most in 7-gallon containers. Pick a type to see every variety, with photos and prices.
Apples
Honeycrisp, Fuji, Gala, Granny Smith and more, plus two columnar apples.
Peaches
Red Haven, Elberta, Contender and Reliance.
Cherries
Sweet and tart cherries, including the self-fertile dwarf Stella.
Berries & kiwi
Blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and hardy kiwi.
Pears
Bartlett, Kieffer and crisp Asian pears.
Plums
Santa Rosa, Methley and Italian Prune.
Apricots
Five varieties, including Goldcot and Puget Gold.
Persimmon
Fuyu, the non-astringent persimmon you eat crisp.

Where our trees come from
Grown by us, and sourced from a nursery we trust
We grow fruit trees of our own here in Salem County. The trees on our 2027 reservation list are different: they come from another nursery, our supplier, and we bring them to you.
That’s how we can offer this many varieties at once. We choose what to offer, take the orders and have everything ready for pickup. You deal with our family the whole way through.
